Athina Liaskoni

Athina Liaskoni is a columnist.

Athina completed her PhD from the University of Nottingham and is an alumnus of the University of Patras. While her background is in Pharmacy, she has been working in the area of production of innovative drug delivery systems for important diseases such as cancer as well as common ailments such as diabetes and cardiovascular complications. She is trying to increase the awareness and the understanding of the benefits of science and pharmacy among people, especially children, by participating in various outreach activities.

Athina regularly publishes articles in journals and presents her ideas on hot topics in the field of health sciences on social media. Athina loves traveling, learning new things, meeting and interacting with people all over the world from various fields for the exchange of thoughts and concerns about current issues.
